"Art, music, poetry, paradox, sacrament, theater are the very medicines we need, yet they are the very things our modern minds drop by the wayside."

~Stephen Nachmanovitch

One River

Music, dance, poetry and performance create space for the full expression and celebration of life on Earth. Our cross-disciplinary ensemble, One River, performs sacred and traditional music, as well as original material and improvised, responsive songscapes that invite living ritual and self-expression.

We collaborate with organizations, artists, facilitators, teachers and healers to create a variety of experiential learning environments, from a seventy-person ritual for the inner child under the stars of San Diego, to a private baby blessing for a family at home.

"Gary and I wanted to tell you again how much we enjoyed (a word too inadequate to express all we felt) experiencing your incredible tantric voices and vibrations during Saturday's ritual. I think we spent 90% of our time in the Temple just soaking up the energy. We are in awe still."

~Linda E. Savage, Ph.D, Sex Educator and  author of Reclaiming Goddess Sexuality
